Rovio's Angry Birds Space game gets an update today that adds 15 Solar System levels. Each level features a different planet, comet or satellite in our Solar System.

Following recent news of the Lego Angry Birds collaboration, this aims to combine the entertaining Angry Birds game-play with classroom learning. With Angry Birds Space already  present in many classrooms around the world, children can now explore real planets of the Solar System and get to know fun facts just by playing the game.

Sanna Lukander, VP Learning, Rovio Entertainment says “We have spent time defining our approach to learning and strongly believe that learning is fun when you love what you do, when it’s fun to fail, when you feel intrinsically motivated and when you experience flow. Well-designed games are strong in all of those four fields by default, thus offering a next generation platform for outstanding learning experiences.”
