Angry Birds Transformers Unveiled
Recently these games have offered stronger theme's around related franchises like Star Wars or provided different gaming genres, like Angry Birds Go!'s kart racing. Angry Birds Stella also provided an experience with more role-play involved.
Angry Birds Transformers is another departure for the series and offers a tap and shoot play style. Players track the progress of their transformer character while tapping on enemy targets on the top screen. This works through a story where the transformers and decepticons must team up to defeat a common enemy.
As with other recent Angry Bird games, this also comes with a range of related toy play-sets. These toys offer some traditional play-time fun but also unlock characters in the game itself. Place the telepod element of the toy over the smartphone or tablet camera and the related character appears in the game.
The combination of physical and virtual play can work well for families with children of different ages. Younger players will enjoy the traditional toys while those a little older can play the Angry Birds Transformers app game.
