We had a look at one of the new Toy Box games for this year's Disney Infinity 3.0. It brings a Mario Kart style racing experience to use with any of your Disney characters from the current and previous games.

It's developed by Sumo Digital on the Disney Infinity Toy Box platform and is an good example of what can be achieved in the game creator with time and talent. We spoke to Sean Millard from Sumo Digital about the basics of the game.

It offers both two player local multi-player and four player online. There are a host of different power-ups and shortcuts to discover and playing it felt like a cross between Sonic All Stars Racing and Mario Kart.

The game includes the following circuits, themed around Disney franchises:

  • Agrabah Raceway - Aladin
  • San Fransokyo Circuit - Big Hero 6
  • Arandelle Racing Rink - Frozen
  • Gravity Falls Mystery Tour
  • Road to Knowhere - Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Monster Mayhem - Monsters Inc
  • Halloween Town Highway - Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Dunes of Tatooine - Star Wars
  • Sugar Rush Raceway - Wreck It Ralph

Other Toy Box creations were available at the event along with a quick demonstration of how it will be easier to find the games you want to play in this year's Disney Infinity.

Finally there was a chance to see first hand the different Disney Infinity characters.
