Enjoy A Family Pokemon Day Out

We wrote recently about how to get the most out of Pokemon GO with your kids. Many families are using the popular new app as a nice excuse to get outside and enjoy their local area.

It can seem a bit daunting to get started but really is a great way to engage with your children's hobby along with some exercise and fresh air. To get started simply download the Pokemon GO app and sign up for an account.

You can plan a route ahead of time that takes in different types of environments from streets to parks to rivers and streams -- this can help find a wide range of Pokemon as different characters are attracted to different locations. You can also visit a variety of Pokestop locations to collect special items or even visit a Pokemon Gym to battle other Pokemon GO players.
