Hanazuki Game Teaches Children Emotional Literacy

We've had an early look at the Hanazuki game from Hasbro. It revolves around the YouTube cartoon of the same name and has the same unusual focus on emotions.

Players need to nurture and understand their in-game emotions to progress. There's also a range of toys to collect that extend the experience into the real world. For example, the Moodgleam bracelet links to the app and can control what mood the world is in.

The combination of tech-toys, video-games and a YouTube cartoon create an unusual (and welcome) new context in which families can talk about moods and emotions with their children.
