Mixels Series 9 Expands Tower Defense Line-Up

As we mentioned last week, Mixels are collectible toys that come with a related app and TV show. In the Calling All Mixels app you play as a variety of Lego characters in a tower-defense style challenge. This means you place different defensive characters on the map ready for waves of enemies. To win you must stop too many breaking through your ranks.

The range has been expanded this week with Series 9 Mixels and Series 8 Mixels announced at Toy Fair in Nuremberg.

It's a nice combination of both logical thinking and action, ideal for parents and children to play together. Add in the Lego aspect to the game and it expands into the real world with children recreating the online action on the sitting room carpet.
