Run an Empire Combines Running and Video-games

Video-games have a wide range of health and educational benefits. This new running app Run an Empire takes things a step further by combining a real time strategy game with running.

Players are awarded points in different real world zones by taking a run that includes these areas. The player with the most runs and points in a certain zone is crowned the champion of that area.

The strategy is extended by being able to upgrade your running crest and plan specific defence and attack techniques to help you conquer the map.

Run against some friends, a group at work or the whole world, Run an Empire looks like a great way to get fit and have fun for the whole family. What's more it's out first in the UK on iOS and later on Android.
