Skylanders SuperCharges Adds Vehicles And Value

This year's version of Skylanders offers new vehicle toys and game-play: Skylanders SuperChargers. It also enables families to play the game by re-using their existing portals.

The vehicles are grouped into air, sea and land. When placed on the portal they bring in a special ride that works in different areas. The game also adds a set of SuperCharger Skylanders that can customize the vehicles extensively. This offers a range of ways to play the game.

A nice touch for families with players of different ages and abilities is that in vehicle levels one player can control the steering while the other shoots. This is a nice way for different players to team up.

Elsewhere the game continues as previously and supports all 300 of the existing Skylanders characters. Again this is good for families who can now get extra value from their existing Skylanders Collection.
