Here is our look at the top selling video games for each PEGI age rating for the week ending 15th Sept 2012. We break down the top selling games into the five PEGI age ratings.

While the PEGI 3 and PEGI 7 categories remain unchanged there is a new entry for NHL 13 in the PEGI 12 age category. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 grabs the number one spot for the PEGI 16 age group, while Max Payne 3 knocks Modern Warfare 3 off the third place for PEGI 18 games this week.

This grouping represents appropriateness of content rather than the ability or age required to enjoy the game. The Family Gamer TV Awards offer a list of games grouped by player ability in each of these PEGI age groups.
