Here is our look at the top selling video games for each PEGI age rating for the week ending 5th January 2013. We break down the top selling games into the five PEGI age ratings.

PEGI 3 and PEGI 7 rating charts are unchanged this week. In the PEGI 12 category Lego Lord of the Rings and Forza Horizon trade places. PEGI 16 sees a new entry from DMC and Halo 4 slip out the top three charts. Far Cry 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II swap places at the top spot of the PEGI 18 games.

This grouping represents appropriateness of content rather than the ability or age required to enjoy the game. The Family Gamer TV Awards offer a list of games grouped by player ability in each of these PEGI age groups.
