Here is our look at the top selling video games for each PEGI age rating for the week ending 8th December 2012. We break down the top selling games into the five PEGI age ratings.

PEGI 3 sees the Moshi Monsters back in the charts at number three. Need for Speed takes to the top of the the PEGI 7 category while Lego Lord of the Rings holds strong for PEGI 12 games. PEGI 16 charts remains unchanged for the forth week running. Assassin's Creed III sneaks back it at number 3 for the PEGI 18 chart this week.

This grouping represents appropriateness of content rather than the ability or age required to enjoy the game. The Family Gamer TV Awards offer a list of games grouped by player ability in each of these PEGI age groups.
