Xbox One Games that Educate and Entertain

There are a lot of great games on the Xbox One, but find the right ones for your family and you can spark education as well as entertainment in the home.

As you can see in our test of Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, Skylanders Imaginators and FIFA there is a lot of learning that can be inspired by playing a game -- and even more so if you play them together as a family.

Forza Horizon 3 for example has a full open world to navigate with the help of a realistic maps and GPS system. My kids really enjoyed driving around with the navigation and orienteering to the next location.

We also enjoyed stretching our memory by going back to play the Xbox 360 games supported on the Xbox One with backwards compatibility. Just pop the Xbox 360 disc in and you are ready to go -- if you can remember where to go that is.

Skylanders Imaginators also offered plenty of creativity with players able to craft their own characters this year. And of course Minecraft is perhaps the most creative game of all time. What surprised me was how fast my kids had got at creating things.
