Lego City Undercover 3DS arrives on 26th March
After our Lego City Undercover fact file post has prompted questions and interest, it is good to see that the 3DS version Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins will be released on 26th April.
The game should appeal to family players as it offers similar game-play to the Wii U title, mirroring both the exploration and city scanning with the 3DS’s built in gyroscope sensors. It seems likely that it will receive the same PEGI 7 rating as the Wii U game.
The Wii U title has been well received critically with an average review score on Meta Critic of 80% (at the time of writing). For a more anecdotal run-down of the game’s features and an idea of which family members it’s best suited to here are a couple of FGTV episodes on the game.

Although these games do need specific systems to be played, provided you are sure you will get enough enjoyment out of them the investment can be worthwhile. It also opens the door to other Wii U and 3DS title for families.
