Lightseekers Is Tomy's Smart Figure Video-Game

Following up on success with the likes of Skylanders and Lego Dimensions, Tomy have partnered with Play Fusion to create Lightseekers.

The game combines large posable action figures that connect to a tablet game via Bluetooth. You don't need a portal therefore the figures don't have to stand on a base and are easier to play with.

There are also weapons that can be attached to the physical characters that then appear in the game. These all light up to provide feedback to the player and even speak about the game from time to time.

It's not likely to be out until next year, but already Lightseekers looks like an exciting experience for families to play together.
