On The Road: Youth in Mind Conference

We were on the road again this week as our editor gave a talk to mental health experts, teachers and charities at the Youth in Mind Conference.

Topics covered at Youth in Mind are supremely relevant for those working to support the county’s children, young people and families. Drawing on cutting edge research and the lived experience of young people, our one-day conference will also equip you with resources and toolkits to invigorate your practice.

It was fantastic to connect with such a wide and influential audience. Andy talked about how the PEGI ratings offer a really useful baseline for understanding game engagement. He also highlighted the mental health benefits of games and offered advice on how to find video games well suited to different mental health practitioners.

For more information about games that offer mental health benefits we have worked on a lists of games with organisations including Child Net, NHS and Take This.
