Osmo is a neat peripheral that snaps onto the top of iPads so the device can scan the desk. Today a new addition was announced, Osmo Coding.

This enables children to snap together physical "Lego" blocks to create and design code instructions. On the screen a video-game character then responds to each command. It's a lot of fun and teaches children how to code without them even realising it.

Other Osmo games include Numbers, Words and Masterpiece that lets children combine real world drawings on their iPad.
