Video-games are excellent and breaking down boundaries and getting different people playing together. A new game for the Osmo iPad peripheral has just been announced that will make anyone into a great artist.

Osmo Matserpiece allows you to scan in different objects or take pictures. It then places them on the screen while you trace them on a piece a paper in front of the iPad. Because of the Osmo peripheral the app can see your drawing and overlay it on the screen.

It sounds complicated but as you can see in the video it is a great way to get everyone drawing and sharing their pictures. Once you are done you can even send a video of your creation to parents and grandparents.

Other games available for the Osmo peripheral include Words, Tangram and Newton each of which have different educational and entertaining elements.

If you already own the red Osmo losenge you can download the app for free.
