Questions of the Month for April
Each month we field all manner of different questions on askaboutgames. Some people have intricate queries about particular games while others want to know which console will be best for their family. Here are our picks this month.
Question: Can you use one Xbox 360 portal for each of the different Skylander games? Also can you use the Swap Force portal with Spyro’s Adventure or Giants?
Answer: The first portal works with Giants and Spyro’s Adventures. The Portal for Swap Force is different and required for that game. Also the portal for Trap Team is also different (including a speaker) and is required for that game. A new Trap Team Starter Pack will therefore be required.
The portal from Swap Force will work with Giants and Spyro’s Adventure but you can only buy Giants without a portal at retail.

Question: What is the law on parents who let children play 18 labeled games?

Question: My son has Xbox live, we now have a PS4 do i need a contract so he can play people around the world or do i just need internet like ps3?
Xbox Live enables you to play on-line against other Xbox players. The PlayStation uses the PlayStation Network, to use the online gaming features you need PlayStation Plus on the PS4. You can however use those online gaming features on the PS3 without PlayStation Plus.
