Each month we field all manner of different questions on askaboutgames. Some people have intricate queries about particular games while others want to know which console will be best for their family. Here are our picks this month.

Question: My son wants the new Sonic Racing game. He has a normal Wii but can only get it on Wii U. Will the Sonic and All Star Racing Transformed work on his normal Wii ?

Answer: No, Wii U games don't work on the Wii. There are older Sonic racing games that would be a good alternative on the Wii though.

Question: How can i play ps2 games on my ps3 console?

Answer: It depends which version of PS3 you have. The original models had hardware support for PS2 games. Subsequent models only offer emulation which supports a smaller set of titles:

Answer: You can finish the game with just the starter pack, but there are some optional areas that force Skylanders of a particular element to be used if you want to access them.

Question: My son got the Skylanders starter pack for Spyros Adventure and we would like to know if you need one of each category to reach more levels? Also, can wham shell from Spyros Adventure be used on the giants game?

Answer: You can finish the game with just the starter pack, but there are some optional areas that require one figure of the related eight element types. You can swap Skylanders from any of the Spyros Adventure characters in the Sklanders Giants game, Wham Shell included.
