On The Road: BBC Radio Debate About Positive Gaming

We are always on the lookout for great advice about video games and the family. So it was with some excitement we found this brilliant piece on BBC Radio interviewing Noel McDermott on the topic of extreme gaming.

Noel is the CEO and founder of Mental Health Works and has over 25 years of experience in counselling, advice and tailored support to individuals, couples, families and groups. He works with cognitive behavioural, psycho-dynamic, arts and drama therapies.

As an added bonus was mention of our own Andy Robertson and journalist Chris Scullion who offer great information for families on this subject.

"We have to be well informed about [video games]," said McDermott. "Parents are missing a trick if they just get anxious about this. You can form strong bonds with your kids, maybe even play yourself and invite children to join you playing it. This enhances your relationship with your children."
