Each month we field all manner of different questions on askaboutgames. Some people have intricate queries about particular games while others want to know which console will be best for their family. Here are our picks this month.

Question: How can I run multiplayer on call of duty? Answer: Multiplayer mode on Call of Duty requires an internet connection and account with PlayStation Plus or Xbox Gold. Question: I put my 3ds SD card into my camera, which erased ALL my data. I was lucky to get all my eShop downloads back but on Streetpass, Find Mii is gone! I really want the NES hat so someone. Answer: While you can redownload items from the eShop, I don't think it's possible to regain Streetpass data once it has been lost. Question: Would you know where I could get a full complete PAL Playstation 2 list of games from? Answer: This list of PlayStation 2 games on Wikipedia can be sorted by region. Question: I have a thirteen-year old son.  Left to his own decisions he would play his video games from rising in the morning until he is told to go to bed.  Please can we be advised on how long you think is acceptable for a child to spend playing video games each day. Answer: The acceptable amount of time to play video-games will differ from family to family. The main advice we offer is to ensure a varied set of activities during the day. Many games can lead to secondary creative or sporting pursuits. Some families get children to do creative writing or drawing about their favourite games. Question: My son wants to know how to get two players on the Skylanders Trap Team. He has a Wii  he plays very well on his own but cannot get it  to work with his friend. Answer: To play with a friend on Trap Team you simply need to connect a second controller to the Wii as normal, place a Skylander on the portal and press A to join the game. Question: We have bought an Xbox One and now have been given a Skylanders portal etc for an Xbox 360 - are they compatible please? Answer: The Xbox 360 and Xbox One portals for Skylanders are not compatible. Question: What figures can i play with when i'm playing skylanders giants? Answer: Skylanders Giants supports all the figurines from Skylanders Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders Giants. Question: Could explain why the Apple App Store has different age ratings to those recommended by PEGI? Examples include Terraria (rated 9+ on the Apple App Store but rated 12 by PEGI). Answer: The app store rates games on a different basis to PEGI. The PEGI rating does provide a lot more information about why a game gets a rating. Question: Hello, I want to buy a PS4 and I have the controllers and some games of Move, Like Sports Champions, for PS3. And I want to now if I can use them on PS4. Answer: The Playstation 3 (PS3) Move controllers work with Playstation 4 (PS4), the Playstation "Eye" (ps3) won't. Question: Would like to know what kind of game the SIMS4 is without actually playing it.  It is on the Christmas list.  I did go on the web-site but it was not really informative. Question: Is there a PS3 version of the new Star Wars game that's coming out? Answer: There is currently no version of Star Wars Battlefront on PS3. Disney Infinity 3.0 does off Star Wars content for all the films this year although this is more of a family friendly experience for younger players. Question: Can a Nintendo 3DS XL or a 2DS XL console be used with Nintendo DS games? Answer: Yes Nintendo 3DS XL, 2DS and the new 3DS all play the original DS games.
